Meet Jennifer Donison

When families face separation, they are often navigating one of the most overwhelming and emotionally charged experiences of their lives.

As an Accredited Divorce Coach, Accredited Family Mediator, Parenting Coordinator, educator, and founder of My Children and Me Inc., I have dedicated my career to helping families navigate separation with greater understanding, preparation, and a continued focus on what matters most - the well being of children.

My approach combines practical guidance with compassion. Clients often tell me that they leave our conversations feeling calmer, more informed, and better equipped to make decisions during a time when emotions can easily take over.

Professional Leadership

In addition to supporting families directly, I am deeply committed to advancing the family dispute resolution profession.

I currently serve as Vice President of the Divorce Coaches Association of Ontario (DCAO) and am the Founder and President of Breakforward Divorce Coach Institute, where I train and mentor professionals working with individuals and families experiencing separation and divorce.

I regularly provide education and presentations to mediators, lawyers, coaches, and other family professionals, and I am proud to be the co-creator of Separation Preparation™, an educational program designed to help individuals better understand and prepare for one of life's most significant transitions.

A Few Things About Me

Outside of my professional work, I am first and foremost a mom. My children continue to inspire the work that I do every day.

I understand the balancing act of parenting, family life, and life's unexpected transitions, and I bring both professional expertise and genuine compassion into every conversation.
